Kim began her formal study of massage therapy in 2003 at Rising Spirit Institute of Natural Health in Marietta, Georgia. The program at Rising Spirit was an extensive 750 hour course, covering many traditional teachings with a focus on neuromuscular therapy.

In 2004, after graduating from Rising Spirit, Kim opened her private office in Dallas, Georgia, Conscious Touch Massage and Bodywork.

In 2005, Kim discovered Sacred Lomi developed by Master teachers Tom Cochran and Donna Jason distilled from Hawaiian Temple Bodywork by kahuna Abraham "Kahu" Kawai'i.

She is licensed by the State of Georgia to Practice Massage Therapy.

She is a member of Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals.

She takes 12 to 48 hours of continuing education each year, exceeding the minimum required by the state.
